“At first I just needed volunteer hours. But once I started, I didn’t want to stop. Packing boxes for real families, meeting other teens, and helping new volunteers made me feel like I was actually making a difference.”

— Jordan, Teen Ambassador

Critical Needs for Healthy Families

We provide over 100 types of essential items—clothing, shoes, toiletries, school supplies, and more—to help people in crisis participate fully in school, work, and everyday life.

Between 2020 and 2024, we gave away 19 million essential items, reaching 1.2 million people. No one should miss out on an opportunity because they don’t have socks, a toothbrush, or a warm coat.

Diaper Bank

One in two U.S. families cannot afford diapers. Without them, babies can’t go to daycare and parents can’t go to work. Between 2020 and 2024, we distributed 13.3 million diapers, wipes, baby soap, and supplies to thousands of families to help ease the burden of poverty and give caregivers one less thing to worry about.

How You Can Help:

Organize a baby item drive

Host a community baby shower

Period Supplies

No one should miss work or school because they can’t afford period products. Yet two in five people do. We provide every woman and girl we serve with pads or tampons—discreetly, respectfully, and consistently.

We also partner with 110+ schools, agencies, and community organizations to meet local needs. Between 2020 and 2024, we distributed over 3.5 million period products.

Host a pad and tampon collection

Raise awareness about period poverty

Youth Engagement

We plant seeds of service through hands-on programs that create future changemakers. And we owe a special debt of gratitude to the Zeigler Family Foundation for their generous support of our youth engagement work.

Our Teen Ambassador Program provides a unique opportunity for high school students (entering 9th -12 grades) to make a difference in the world and develop leadership skills. This leadership program combines service and personal development in a select program that trains high school students to act as guides for new volunteers at our warehouse.
