Mitzvah Circle Foundation's 1st Annual Bake, Rattle, and Run

Stuff the Truck Toiletries Drive — September 24, 2017

Mitzvah Circle Foundation's Goal

Food stamps cannot be used to buy toiletries, nor is there any government program that provides them. Our goal is to provide desperately-needed toiletries to every family we serve.

On September 24th, 2017, we’ll try to collect a truckload of toiletries so we can continue to provide everyday essentials to vulnerable people in our communities.

We cannot do this without you!

How You Can Help

Help us provide critical, basic necessities by collecting full-size shampoo, toothpaste, baby wash, toothbrushes, deodorant, and soap. Challenge your school, community group, business, or family to collect as many toiletries as possible.

Every team that participates will be changing lives — giving people what they need to feel dignified.

Bring your collection to Bake, Rattle, and Run on September 24th. Admission is free for the group representative(s) who bring the collection. For more information, please contact Rachel Hurley or Josh Arsenault.

Tips for Successful Drives

  • Spread the word! Use social media, emails, or print materials to let everyone in your group know about the drive. You can find a premade sample flyer here.
  • Place your collection bin in a public, clearly visible space. Contact Rachel Hurley if you would like an official Mitzvah Circle Foundation collection box.
  • Clearly state the items for collection.
  • Incentivize donations! Give employees a casual dress-down day or provide some sort of treat to the individual who brings in the most to donate.
  • Share your progress on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram! Tag Mitzvah Circle Foundation so we can show off your awesome work!
